Accelerated Parallel Magnetic Resonance Imaging with Multi-Channel Chaotic Compressed Sensing

Title:  Accelerated Parallel Magnetic Resonance Imaging with Multi-Channel Chaotic Compressed Sensing Authors:  Tran, Duc Tan Keywords:  Fast acquisition;Parallel imaging Issue Date:  2010 Publisher:  International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications ATC 2010 Abstract:  Fast acquisition in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is considered in this paper. Often, fast acquisition is achieved using parallel imaging (pMRI) techniques. It has been shown recently that the combination of pMRI and compressed sensing (CS), which enables exact reconstruction of sparse or compressible signals from a small number of random measure- ments, can accelerate the speed of MRI acquisition because the number of measurements are much smaller than that by pMRI per se. Also recently in CS, chaos filters were designed to obtain chaotic measurements. This chaotic CS approach potentially offers simpler hardware implementation. In this paper, we combine chaotic CS and pMRI. However, instead

Implicit Feedback Mechanism to Manage User Profile Applied in Vietnamese News Recommender System

Title:  Implicit Feedback Mechanism to Manage User Profile Applied in Vietnamese News Recommender System Authors:  Nguyen, Thac Huy Do, The Chuan Nguyen, Viet Anh Keywords:  Implicit feedback;News recommender;User modeling Issue Date:  2016 Publisher:  ĐHCN Abstract:  The appearance of a vast array of online newspapers makes appropriate news recommendation for users become critically important. A number of researches in this area have been conducted in recent years. This paper presents the Vietnamese content-based news recommender system. Based on information about news stories that users have read and given feedback, the system can automatically determine news stories that users may want to read later. The center of the system is a hybrid user profile which can diversely model news reading features of individual users thanks to a combination of short -term and long -term information models along with self description. The paper also introduces and evaluates a mechanism for impli
